The Egyptian dish Kushari will be cooked and served by James, who has lived in Egypt and loves the food. Kushari is his favourite dish, a dish that he once ate almost every summer day.

Our special guest chef James will be cooking and serving traditional Egyptian dishes inspired by his time living in Egypt — including his favorite: Kushari. Kushari is a beloved comfort food in Egypt made from layers of rice, lentils, pasta, crispy fried onions, and a rich spiced tomato sauce — hearty and absolutely full of flavor.

For only €10, you’ll enjoy a full meal with drink and dessert included. Expect bold spices, fresh ingredients, and a warm, communal table atmosphere where good food brings people together. Whether you’re already a fan of Egyptian cuisine or curious to try it for the first time, this pop-up is one not to miss!
