Workshop Community Building

Practical tools and collective learning

This workshop is a shortened version of a full course on community building provided by students Robbe & Luca. Everyone is warmly invited to enter this open space, students, inhabitants, all ages.

We will provide a space of collective learning, and apply practical tools. The topics touched upon are amongst others: 

~ prefiguration

~ building trust

~ nervous system regulation

As adrienne maree brown suggests, “What we practice at the small scale sets the patterns for the whole system”. We think community is a central notion. Community is another way to understand, organize society, and to live life - an alternative to 'individualistic society'. Communities can support and strengthen the individual by creating relationships that promote collective action and social change, allowing them to deviate from the hegemonic model of capitalist patriarchy.
